Overview
At Winning Group, we pride ourselves on being an award-winning experience company, driven by people, science, and our mandate to leave the world a better place. As a fourth-generation, family-owned Australian business, we are set apart by our innovative logistics, technology and luxury retail services. Our brand encompasses a diverse range of entities, all committed to delivering excellence to our valued customers.
The Opportunity: This is a pivotal career step for a hands-on HR leader ready to take ownership of HR Operations at Group level. You’ll oversee People & Culture Operations across a diverse, multi-brand workforce that spans retail stores, contact centres, warehouses, corporate offices and field-based teams. Leading and developing a small team, you’ll manage the full employee lifecycle, from requisition and recruitment through onboarding, probation, development and offboarding. Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the HR Operations team to deliver service and capability uplift.
- Partner with senior leaders to anticipate workforce needs and resolve issues early.
- Own end-to-end HR processes: requisition, onboarding, probity checks, movements, and exits.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work, NES, awards and agreements.
- Manage ER/IR casework, including performance management, investigations and conduct matters.
- Standardise recruitment practices across the Group, with clear SLAs and KPIs.
- Build talent pools and pipelines for critical roles to reduce time-to-hire.
- Drive continuous improvement, streamlining workflows and eliminating manual steps.
- Optimise UKG systems and reporting, ensuring clean data and accurate payroll inputs.
- Integrate training into onboarding and monitor compliance rates.
About You
Practical, ambitious and commercially aware, you bring strong HR Operations experience and confidence working in complex, high-volume environments. You’re comfortable being close to the detail, while also stepping up to design scalable systems and deliver results at pace.
- 5+ years’ HR experience with proven end-to-end lifecycle ownership.
- Confident in ER case management, investigations and compliance.
- Skilled in HRIS administration (ideally UKG) and reporting.
- Experience in multi-site, award-covered environments.
- Strong recruiter with talent sourcing and pipeline development experience.
- Proven ability to partner with Payroll to ensure clean data and entitlement accuracy.
- Team leadership or mentoring experience.
Why Winning?
- Newly designed modern office with flexible workspaces, onsite gym, coffee and wellness room.
- Generous staff discounts across our brands + access to 5,000 partner retailer offers.
- Regular wellness and social activities, from monthly health events to Friday drinks and BBQs.
- Career growth in a business that promotes from within.
