Are you a passionate recruiter who loves matching the right people with the right roles? Do you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoy working closely with leaders to solve workforce challenges? We want you on our team
About Us
BOSS Engineering is a proudly Australian manufacturing company based in Inverell. We design and build world-class agricultural, automotive and industrial products, and we're growing fast. Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we're now looking for an experienced HR Generalist to help shape our workforce of the future.
The Role
As our HR Generalist – Recruitment Specialist, you'll take ownership of end-to-end recruitment across the business. Reporting to the HR Lead and partnering closely with our Leadership Team and Operations & Production Lead, you'll manage job advertising, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate onboarding. This is a broad HR role with a recruitment focus, offering the chance to get involved in generalist HR activities as well.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce needs
- Managing job ads, screening, interviews, and offer processes
- Leading recruitment campaigns and building talent pipelines
- Supporting onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement
- Assisting with HR initiatives including ER, performance, and training coordination
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years' experience in recruitment or HR generalist roles
- Confidence managing multiple recruitment campaigns at once
- Great people skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
- Familiarity with ATS or HRIS systems
- A background in manufacturing or engineering (ideal, not essential)
- HR or Business qualifications (preferred but not required)
What's in It for You?
- A permanent, full-time opportunity in a well-established, supportive team
- Variety in your day – from recruitment to onboarding to HR projects
- A growing business that values initiative, culture and continuous improvement
- The chance to make a real difference in the way we attract and support our people
Ready to Join BOSS?
We're looking for someone who loves getting things done and has a genuine passion for people and recruitment. If this sounds like you, apply now and be part of something big in regional manufacturing.
