Responsibilities

As Agribusiness Lending Coach, you'll be a key player in optimising our lending processes. You will work across the Agribusiness Banking lending approval value chain to improve credit quality, boost productivity, and reduce processing times for our customers.

Your expertise will be instrumental in driving a customer-focused, cost-effective, and high-quality operational support system. The role requires strong leadership, coaching abilities, and extensive agribusiness credit and lending experience to enhance the performance of the division. This role can be performed from any Bendigo Bank corporate office nationwide.

In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:

- Provide effective leadership across the Agribusiness Banking division.
- Coach Bankers, Relationship Associates, and the Lending Assessment team to enhance lending capabilities.
- Utilise Agribusiness Credit and Lending experience to optimise the performance of the Business & Agri Sales Support team.
- Contribute to the Lending Assessment team's mission of providing excellent customer service through efficient lending assessment and strong credit analysis skills.

What you'll bring to the role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- A tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance or a related discipline.
- Experience as a Commercial or Agribusiness Banker, or Credit Manager.

We would also love you to have:

- A deep understanding of end-to-end commercial lending and credit processes.
- Fine-tuned skills in coaching and leading high performing teams.
- Ability to drive 'one-way same way' approach through continuous improvement.
- A strong customer focus underpinned by a growth mindset.
- Ability to communicate with peers and stakeholders of all levels.
