As a critical member of the leadership team, the NSW & ACT State Manager is responsible for the leadership and direction of a team of Senior Operations Managers and Operations Managers across NSW & ACT.

Job Description

A genuine operational leader, key to your success in this role is your ability to foster great relationships with our clients across the Aged Care & Education sectors as well as your ability to influence and drive the teams, providing high quality food to our clientele.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for tracking, forecasting and driving financial performance
- Leading, coaching and further developing your key senior leaders
- Build extremely strong professional relationships with our clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Oversee menu preparation, observation of safety practices, adherence to regulatory bodies and initiatives, maintaining our market leading position
- Strategically collaborate with other business units to ensure all opportunities are capitalised upon
- Foster a positive work experience that promotes collaboration, upskilling and excellence across your operational teams

Desired Skills and Experience

- Significant experience within the hospitality sector in a leadership position from a food or catering environment (Aged Care or Education would be well regarded)
- Comprehensive understanding of contract management
- Proven track record of achieving operational and financial goals in a hospitality setting
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Coming from a food background, it would be expected you have relevant qualifications from this sector
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
