Full Time Fixed Term 01/08/25 - 31/07/26
We seek a committed Coordinator and Nominated Supervisor to help inspire children at our Burke Ward OSHC services in Broken Hill. About your new role
- You will design and deliver a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service following Y values
- You will oversee a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program following My Time Our Place Volume II principals
- You will become a trusted leader in the community, working closely with Y NSW families, schools and charity partners to turn the Y's global mission into local action
- You will manage a dynamic team of Educators, helping everyone's individual growth
- You will be able to follow our development pathway to learn new skills and build your career

- Proficient in the use of technology and systems, such as Teams, Outlook and Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Office, and internal management platforms

- Experience of and commitment to be responsible for the safety and well-being of children
- Experience leading others
- Ability to critically reflect to develop innovative learning every day
- Availability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours
- Ability to work in a team seamlessly.
Qualifications
- A Diploma in Children's Services, or equivalent (Desired)
- Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 OR CHCPRT001 (Mandatory)
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check
- HLTAID004 /HLTAID012 - Current First Aid and CPR(Mandatory)
- Police Check (paid for by the Y)

Our Children Services Team are the passionate leaders giving developing young minds the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun outside of school. Across 47 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide before and after school (and school holiday) care that's dedicated to the safety and development of young children. Every day, the team facilitate and run a range of valuable programs and activities that include sport, creative arts, cooking – and many more.
