This is a permanent part-time (0.2FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026
Como Primary School (PS) is an inner suburban school situated near the Swan River. We are an Independent Public‑School catering for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our school has a long and proud history of high academic achievement built around strong partnerships between the school and our families. The Role
The suitable applicants will undertake reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information, in an efficient and friendly manner whilst providing effective and accurate general clerical and administrative support, including preparing correspondence, newsletters, notices and other materials, in a timely manner. The suitable applicants will distribute and collect documents, forms and mail whilst collect and receipt monies in accordance with Departmental procedures.
The suitable applicants will operate and maintain office equipment, including monitoring and ordering office consumables whilst inputting data and generating routine reports and other documents from school databases. The suitable applicants will arrange catering for school functions whilst making travel arrangements for school staff. The suitable applicants assist with the maintenance of school facilities, assets and resources, including reporting faults, organising repairs, assisting with stock takes and updating the asset and resources registers whilst supporting student‑related activities such as maintaining student attendance records, generating routine reports and correspondence related to absenteeism, assisting with student enrolment procedures and handling information relating to school bus timetables.
