We are on the lookout for a passionate & experienced Leader to guide our Food & Beverage team in delivering exceptional customer service in one of Australia’s most iconic tourism destinations.

Our Food & Beverage department has two main outlets, our Terrace Café & Eats270 restaurant. Serving up to 6000 guests per day from across the globe, this is a fast paced and action-packed environment

Job Description

About the Role
As our F&B Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage team, ensuring a safe & high-performing environment. You will lead by example, support team culture, manage rosters & drive service excellence. Maintaining RSA compliance, safety & food handling standards is at the core of everything we do. Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage manager, this role is incredibly diverse and creative, you will have the opportunity to contribute to new ideas & world class events

Key Responsibilities

- Lead & motivate a large team to deliver outstanding customer experiences & high food & beverage standards
- Drive sales excellence, through maintaining stock displays, food quality and engaging in department innovation (with support from the F&B Manager)
- Manage rosters, leave approvals & performance management/reviews
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve team performance & service delivery
- Handle guest feedback & resolve complex complaints professionally
- Ensure compliance with RSA regulations, WHS & food safety standards
- Execute food & beverage activations, such as the Iron Man Ultra Trail, Scenic world’s Nocturnal event and Dinosaur valley.
- Manage and delivery Scenic Spaces functions, including private and corporate events in our internal spaces.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
- Strong organisational & communication skills
- Excellent customer service & complaint resolution abilities
- Knowledge of RSA regulations, safe food handling & WHS practices
- Proven hospitality experience
- Current NSW RSA Certification
- Tourism industry experience is advantageous
