Team Leader – Disability
to join our dynamic team.

is a highly reputable and respected disability support service providing essential care and high-quality support to enrich the lives of our customers. Kirinari employ over 1400 staff in various regions across VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD and TAS.

About The Position
As a Team Leader, you will oversee the implementation of individualised supports within a supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes). You will strengthen the knowledge and abilities of our Support Worker team to ensure a person-centered and high-quality culture within the program.

You will provide direct support and lead your team across a range of customer needs including; domestic and personal care assistance as well as assisting our customers to access and have a positive connection to the community. This position ensures the operation of an allotted SIL/s with administrative functions whilst providing leadership and mentoring to a team of Disability Support Workers to support and develop skill capacity.

This position is Part-time Permanent and will commence as soon as practicable.

About You

  • Previous experience 3-5yrs in the Health Sector is highly regarded
  • Experience is Supported employment or Day Program as a Team Leader/Supervisor is preferrable.
  • Cert 4 or higher in a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership/managment experience is highly regarded
  • Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
  • Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to obtain a paid NSW and VIC Working with Children Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs
  • Smart Phone
  • Current Driver's Licence
