Are you a strategic and hands-on training leader with a passion for aviation security and operational excellence? We're seeking a National Training Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of our aviation security training across the AVSEC business. This critical role will see you manage all technical training and competency development for operational employees, ensuring our teams are equipped, competent, and confident in delivering aviation security processes to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, scheduling, and delivery of all AVSEC technical training programs.

Ensure training complies with aviation security regulations and aligns with operational needs.

Maintain strong partnerships with AVSEC managers and HR to drive national training standards.

Deliver a positive learning culture that fosters safety, wellbeing, and professional growth.

Oversee training records, assessment outcomes, and compliance reporting (including HRIS management).

Manage training resources, facilities, and day-to-day operational requirements.

Guide and support coaches, trainers, and operational leaders across all training efforts.

Ensure workforce compliance with the Certificate II in Transport Security Protection under the Screener Accreditation Program.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation in training delivery and evaluation.

About you

You're an experienced training professional who understands the demands of operational environments and can effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or higher.

Minimum 5+ years in operational training roles (aviation security preferred).

Proven experience in scheduling, delivering, and evaluating training programs.

Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and competency-based assessment.

Current ASIC or the ability to obtain one.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office & multimedia systems.

Experience in an RTO environment.

Understanding of aviation and security operations.

Commercially astute with a focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
