About the role

Supports the delivery of integrated support services for apprentices, trainees and their employers, fosters engagement with stakeholders and promotes and markets vocational education training and employment programs and services across the regional area.

Engage with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities, to inform of opportunities provided by TSNSW, including Aboriginal Programs and local training and employment opportunities.

  • Have ongoing dedication to ensure that programs and services meet the needs of Vocational Education and Training stakeholders.
  • The ability to effectively provide dependable support to VET stakeholders in a challenging and changing environment.
  • The ability to easily develop positive working relationships with all stakeholders to support the implementation of a contemporary commissioning approach.

· Strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and community protocols with knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

· Current Working with Children Check for paid employment (or willing to obtain)

· Current driver's licence and a willingness to travel
