Are you looking to use your technical know-how and people skills in a new way? This role is perfect for a tradie wanting to step off the tools or a customer support professional who enjoys helping customers find the right solutions.
Join a rapidly growing e-commerce business that supplies industrial, agricultural and trade equipment across Australia. You will play a key role in driving sales growth while delivering exceptional support to customers through phone, email, web chat and other channels.
What you will be doing
- Respond to incoming sales enquiries, recommend products and close deals efficiently
- Prepare timely and accurate quotes and follow up to secure sales
- Provide technical advice, troubleshooting and warranty support
- Manage customer enquiries through phone, email, ticketing systems and live chat
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for growth
- Capture feedback and insights on customer needs, competitor activity and local market trends
- Document customer interactions and assist in creating support resources such as FAQs
What we are looking for
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication and listening skills
- Experience in customer support, sales or a related field, or hands-on trade, mechanical or technical experience
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Zendesk is highly regarded
- Knowledge of the industrial, agricultural or automotive sectors is an advantage
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to a wide range of customers
