Overview

Findex is seeking a highly organised and proactive Marketing Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team in Melbourne on a permanent, full-time basis. This role sits at the intersection of event management and internal communications, playing a key part in engaging clients and employees across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the B2B Marketing Manager, and working closely with the Corporate Communications team, you’ll support the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality events both internally and externally with a key focus on internal activity including conferences and communication initiatives that align with strategic business objectives and enhance brand engagement.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, excellent coordination skills, and a strong understanding of how events and communications influence brand experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute and lead end-to-end logistics for webinars, conferences, client and internal events
- Manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder engagement for seamless delivery
- Coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and external partners to deliver professional, on-brand experiences
- Track and evaluate event performance metrics to inform future activity and ROI
- Provide support to the wider Marketing team in areas related to events, conferences, sponsorships, communications and community development
- Travel interstate or to New Zealand as required to support event execution

About You

The successful person will possess the following experience and skills:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in event coordination, marketing, or internal communications roles
- Experience within financial services, professional services, or corporate environments is highly regarded
- Strong digital and data literacy, with ability to track and report on performance
- Experience in managing vendors, logistics, and campaign deliverables
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders at once
- Confident using tools including but not limited to Eventbrite, GoToWebinar, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other marketing and comms platforms
