About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant to join our cloud consulting practice on a contract basis for 12 months. This role will primarily focus on delivering expert cloud architecture and advisory services, focussing on Microsoft Azure technologies.
You will be a key technical leader and trusted advisor, driving complex cloud projects, influencing cloud strategy, and providing high-value solutions to our clients.
Due to the nature of the work and the client we are engaging with we are only able to consider:
- Australian Citizens holding an NV-1 Clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end cloud solution design and implementation
- Provide strategic consulting to clients on cloud adoption, migration, and optimisation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
- Mentor and guide consultants and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define cloud roadmaps, and deliver compelling presentations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, proposals, and thought leadership within the organisation.
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience architecting and delivering cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking, security, and governance.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into effective cloud architectures.
- Experienced with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines with solid understanding of DevOps/ Platform Engineering concepts and processes
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence and manage senior client stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, GitHub) are a plus.
