The Position:

We are looking for an ASORC Registered Rehabilitation Counsellor or Provisional Psychologist (who have at least 6-12 months clinical experience as a Prov. Psych). This exciting opportunity will see you identify and address the critical physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational risk factors which may have an impact on a worker's ability to successfully return to work, so you will provide strategies to address these factors in practise.

You will be responsible for:

  • Completing return to work case management for injured workers under various schemes.
  • Providing holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments
  • Delivering Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskilling
  • Collaborating and liaising with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.
  • Provide clinical assessment services and evidence-based case management supporting clients across Australia.
  • Work within experienced multidisciplinary teams of passionate professionals that are facilitating stakeholder engagements across varying contracts and service models.
  • Work closely with clients in diverse environments-workplaces, homes, medical centres, and ORS offices-playing a pivotal role in their rehabilitation and growth.

What we're looking for:

  • Associate or Full ASORC membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor or AHPRA registration as Registered / Provisional Psychologist
  • Experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is beneficial
  • Relevant Degree or Qualification in Psychology or as a Rehabilitation Counsellor
  • Current drivers' licence and access to own transport
  • 6-12 month minimum clinical experience as an AHPRA Provisional Psychologist if you are not ASORC registered
