We have a recent opportunity arise for a Contract Administrator to join our growing Canberra team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and eager to grow and develop within our reputable company.

As a Contract Administrator, you will take ownership of the client’s day-to-day commercial and contractual needs including tendering, procurement, preparing and negotiating variations, drafting contractual correspondence, and assisting in development of claims. You will get the opportunity to work on both upstream and downstream activities through tendering, delivery, contract close and commercial settlement.

In This Role, you will be part of:

- Tender Documentation: Prepare, collate, and evaluate tender documents to ensure everything is spot on.
- Managing Subcontractors: Handle subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules with flair.
- Claim and Variation Support: Assist with progress claims and external variations to keep everything on track.
- Negotiation contracts: Review, negotiate, and finalise subcontracts with a keen eye for detail.
- Expense Reimbursement: Manage and track project expenditures, including subcontractor claims, to ensure budgets are met.
- Monthly Reporting: Work with the Contracts Manager to submit accurate and timely Monthly Project Reports.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities align with Renascent's policies and procedures.
- Creating a trustful culture: Foster a climate of mutual trust in all your activities.
- Relationship Building: Keep project stakeholders informed with clear and friendly communication, both verbal and written.

The Perfect Candidate Will Have:

- Relevant Qualifications: A tertiary qualification in a related field, along with significant experience in fit-out and refurbishment delivery. AGSVA clearance is desirable, but not required.
- CA Experience: 2-3 years as a Contracts Administrator with a proven track record in commercial and contractual risk management.
- Procurement: Hands-on experience with procurement and management of major subcontract packages for large-scale projects.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Communication Skills: Clear, articulate communication with the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Project Experience: Experience in delivering commercial projects across regional areas, with knowledge of the local construction market and subcontractors.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for detail and proven communication skills.
- Tech Savvy: Experience with Job Pac and Procore is highly regarded.
