We have a Full-Time (Monday – Friday) opportunity for the right candidate.

As a Technical Support Officer, you will be integral to the operation by:

1. Providing a strong level of technical support duties which includes diagnostics on hardware and software to identify, duplicate, and solve issues with customer equipment.
2. Processing warranty claims according to company procedures and guidelines when replacing faulty parts on systems.
3. Performing quality computer builds that meet Scorptec standards with a strong focus on quality control.
4. Troubleshooting Windows operating systems on desktop computer systems.
5. Performing upgrades and configuration changes to laptop hardware.
6. Maintaining a tidy, clean, and safe workplace in compliance with WorkSafe Victoria and OH&S procedures.
7. Working closely with direct supervisors to achieve performance targets and maintain high-quality outputs.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Strong people skills and the ability to maintain composure and etiquette.
2. A love for working as part of a team of skilled staff.
3. Empathy with customers and treating them with respect and dignity.
4. Strong organizational skills to keep up with the volume of service jobs and resolve them within a timely manner that meets customer expectations.
5. A good attitude to learn and develop new skills in technical repairs and troubleshooting.
6. Good time management skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and accurately.
7. A working understanding of what is expected from customers and the business according to Australian Consumer Law (ACCC).
