Position: Chef – Full-Time
Salary: $76,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation

Key Responsibilities
As our Chef, you'll take ownership of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management. You'll design and execute a well-balanced menu, ensuring flavour, freshness, and consistency in every dish.
1. Plan, prepare, and cook pizzas, pastas, entrées, and specialty dishes in accordance with menu standards
2. Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and hygiene
3. Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies, inventory control, and cost efficiency
4. Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace health & safety compliance
5. Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation during service
6. Collaborate on seasonal menu changes and specials
7. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
8. Address and resolve kitchen issues in real-time during peak hours
9. Ensure dietary requirements and special requests are handled professionally

What You'll Bring
1. Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
2. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience as a Chef
3. Strong experience in Italian cuisine and pizza preparation is highly regarded
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills
5. Proven ability to manage a busy kitchen during peak periods
6. Strong understanding of food cost management and inventory systems
7. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
