The Opportunity
Concierge Balwyn Retirement Living is a welcoming community superbly positioned in one of Melbourne's most liveable and leafy suburbs - Balwyn. Working closely with the Chef Manager, you'll prepare, cook and present meals in our new Clubhouse restaurant and for our daily dining room residents. As a hands-on Chef, you'll have experience in volume catering with high standards of meal presentation. If you enjoy working autonomously and in a small team, this is a great opportunity.
This is a Part-time position working only Weekends (Sat-Sun) : from 10 : 30 am - 6 : 30 pm

You will :
Ensure quality meal services to residents and any visitors to the restaurantPrepare, cook, present and deliver meals according to recipes with high attention to detailMonitor food safety plans and ensure the kitchen is adhering to all OH&S standardsManage stock - assist with ordering, stock rotation, stocktake etc.Manage the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen equipmentWork with fellow Food & Beverage or Cook / Chef staff to ensure smooth operationsWhat you'll bring
Experience in catering / kitchen / hospitality settings (e.g experience in food preparation or Chef roles)Certificate III in CommericalCookery (required)Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you)Who we are
