Overview
Health Information Services (HIS) Clerical Trainer/Support Officer at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH). Location: RMH Elizabeth Street. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity.
Role responsibilities
- Train clerks in Health Information Services (HIS) on digitization of medical record content using the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system, including preparation, scanning, and quality assurance.
- Train clerks in HIS on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to perform tasks such as chart corrections, release of information, deficiency tracking, and patient portal activities.
- Monitor processes and throughput; provide feedback and recommendations.
- Organise and initiate training plans with the ECM Operations Manager to train all staff in prepping, scanning, QA and EMR tasks.
- Develop training documentation and maintain ECM and EMR staff manuals.
- Address Document Correction errors in ECM and EMR and make recommendations on system and process improvements.
- Conduct productivity and KPI audits.
- Assist with prioritisation of scanning work and respond to queries related to scanning/ECM.
