As the HR Manager, you will play a key role in shaping workplace culture, enabling leadership capability, and driving organisational performance through best-practice HR.

About the Role:

Reporting to the executive team, this role is responsible for ensuring HR compliance, operational excellence, and strategic business partnering. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while also leading initiatives across culture, employee engagement, learning and development, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain compliance with all relevant employment legislation, regulations, and internal policies
- Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment contracts, and record management
- Manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Support internal audits, risk management, and workforce governance activities

HR Business Partnering

- Collaborate with senior leaders to provide strategic and operational HR guidance aligned with business goals
- Support leaders with performance management, employee relations, and organisational development
- Lead or support change management programs and workforce transitions
- Offer insight and advice on team effectiveness, engagement, and retention strategies

Culture and Engagement

- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with organisational values
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and feedback mechanisms
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, and embed inclusive practices throughout the employee experience
- Facilitate conflict resolution and promote open communication and psychological safety

Learning and Development

- Identify capability gaps and lead the development of targeted learning strategies
- Design and deliver internal training programs and leadership development initiatives
- Work with external providers to curate relevant learning content
- Monitor and assess the impact of L&D initiatives, refining them based on feedback and outcomes

Key Skills and Attributes

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
- Strategic mindset with a practical, hands-on approach to delivery
- Deep knowledge of HR legislation, compliance, and best-practice HR frameworks
- Demonstrated experience coaching leaders and driving organisational change
- Passionate about employee development and building a high-performance culture
