About the Company

Our client is one of the world’s global FMCG manufacturers and suppliers of consumer related products and is well known for their operational excellence, passion for innovation and are an iconic Australian household name.

Due to the approval of a major new project, an opportunity has arisen for an Automation Project Manager with sound IT Infrastructure & Automation experience to be responsible for the design, delivery & execution of a major project.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager, key duties include the following:

- Responsible for design, delivery & execution of a major Automation Project.
- Effectively manage the project schedules and regular reporting requirements, highlighting project scope, schedule & cost.
- Develop & maintain all project schedules in alignment with defined scope, budget and timing requirements.
- Ensure systems are designed, implemented & tested in accordance with project standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues in a timely manner and providing SME input.
- Effectively liaise with key stakeholders including Automation, Engineering, IT, QA & other departments.

About you

The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:

- Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering/IT.
- Sound knowledge & experience with Automation Systems.
- Sound knowledge & experience in working with complex DCS/PCS Automation projects with integrated MES systems.
- Knowledge of SCADA/PLC, PCS integration with IT Infrastructure is essential.
- Sound problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills.
