Permanent Part-Time Position – Fridays Only, 7.6 Hours Per Week (potential to pick up additional backfill duties at times)
What are we offering?
We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to take on an ongoing part-time role supporting the maintenance of our facilities and grounds at Angaston Hospital and Tanunda Hospital. In this hands-on position, you’ll help ensure our site remains safe, clean, and well-presented for patients, staff, and visitors.
Working as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, this role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the day-to-day running of our health service.

Where and how you will work
Nestled in the heart of South Australia’s Barossa Valley, Angaston and Tanunda offer lifestyle and opportunity with access to city amenities about an hour’s drive away.
How will you contribute?
- Carry out general facility and grounds maintenance, including minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical tasks, and rubbish collection
- Assist with ordering, storing, and issuing supplies to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently, including tractors, watering systems, and power tools
- Contribute to a safe, positive work environment and support a culture of continuous improvement
- Provide assistance and guidance to other employees, including on the job training
