Contracts Administrator – Fit-Out & Refurbishment Projects
Location: Sydney, NSW
Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 + Super

Core Talent is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded Sydney-based construction and fit-out contractor delivering premium commercial fit-out, refurbishment, and small-scale build projects.
Known for their collaborative culture, strong client relationships, and commitment to high-quality project delivery, the company continues to grow and now requires an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team and support upcoming projects across the Sydney region.
About the Role
As a Contracts Administrator, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of projects valued around $8–9 million, working closely with the project and commercial teams to ensure all contractual, procurement, and financial processes are handled efficiently.
You’ll manage subcontractor packages, track variations and progress claims, and assist in maintaining cost control across multiple live projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional to work on exciting, design-driven projects within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer head contracts, subcontractor agreements, and supply contracts.
- Prepare, issue, and manage subcontractor documentation and purchase orders.
- Track project costs, variations, progress claims, and payment schedules.
- Support procurement, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate project records, cost reports, and financial documentation.
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, clients, and consultants to ensure smooth delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator within fit-out, refurbishment, or commercial construction.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets of around $8–9 million.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office and construction software (e.g., Aconex, Procore or similar).
