Job Description

Product and Marketing Planning:

- Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop strategic roadmaps aligned with current market trends.

- Support the Product Manager in launching new products by presenting key selling points and detailed specification sheets to sales teams and customers.

- Coordinate the merchandising strategy for new product introductions to ensure optimal market visibility.

- Liaise with internal departments to execute advertising and promotional activities effectively.

- Oversee the planning and approval processes for the marketing budget to ensure efficient resource allocation.

Price Management:

- Support the Product Manager in determining pricing for each model, factoring in market rates and cost of goods sold (COGS).

- Assist in monitoring and optimising product profitability.

- Contribute to managing price protection policies and addressing overcharge issues.

Pre-planned promotion by retailers:

- Evaluate and compute promotional and catalogue deal structures offered by retailers.

- Develop and format reports for approval in alignment with established procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Product Specialist should have:

- Relevant studies in business management / Marketing or related

- Minimum of one year's experience in a comparable role.

- Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

- Competent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.

- Solid understanding of home appliance products and industry dynamics.

- Familiarity with core marketing principles and practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
