The Position
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based beverages quickly and consistently
- Operate commercial coffee machines with confidence and care, delivering friendly service to all guests with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Support front of house teams with general F&B tasks including food running, clearing, and basic service duties
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation in line with food safety and hygiene standards
- Work as part of a team to keep service flowing and guests happy
The Person
- Have proven barista experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Understand coffee service standards and how to deliver a great guest experience
- Are adaptable and happy to jump in to help with other Food & Beverage duties
- Are team-focused, punctual, and presentable
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
- Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (this must be a Victorian RSA, or you must have a bridging course certificate).

Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend an in-person assessment session at Melbourne Park throughout August & September. These sessions are energetic, informative and a great way for us to meet you – and for you to get to know us
All Australian Open roles are casual contracts that will commence Monday 6th October unless otherwise communicated. Shifts may be rostered across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays and paid in accordance with the Hospitality Industry Award. All onboarding and training will be provided prior to commencement.
