- Salary Range: $80,269 to $87,712 per annum (HPCS 3.1 to 3.4)

About the Role:

The Social Emotional Wellbeing Adult Support Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting clients mental, emotional, and cultural well-being in the Greater Darwin Region. This position will provide culturally safe and trauma-informed support involving collaborative development of healing plans with clients, care coordination, and fostering partnerships to enhance individuals’ and families’ social and emotional health.

What You Need to Succeed

Identify as Aboriginal

- Cert IV Mental Health/Cert IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or equivalent training/ work experience or lived experience.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of the social determinants of health (environment, economic and social inequalities) that have a profound impact on the health and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Demonstrated ability to use culturally sensitive ways to ensure improved client access to DDHS and/or other health services.
- Proven teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to constructively negotiate outcomes with a diverse range of people and service providers.
- High level of personal resilience and flexibility with the ability to deal with challenging situations.
- Demonstrated computer skills, especially in the use of client information systems or similar.

- 6-weeks annual leave per annum (pro-rata)
- 5 days paid leave during our end of year shutdown period (on top of annual leave)
- Salary packaging of up to $15,990 per annum
