We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VenueOperations Supervisor to help shape the future of arts and culturein our region.

Saltwater Busselton:

SaltwaterBusselton (currently under construction) is in the heart ofBusselton’s Cultural Precinct and is due to open early 2026.It is a multi-use facility which features an A-class art gallery,640 seat theatre and a state of the art conference suiteoverlooking the beautiful Geographe Bay.

About the role:

As the Venue Operations Supervisor,you’ll be the heartbeat of Saltwater’s day-to-dayoperations, ensuring every event, performance, and visitorexperience runs smoothly and professionally. You’ll lead ateam of Front of House, Box Office, Casual Bar and Function staff,Cleaners, and Volunteers, fostering a culture of teamwork,excellence, and outstanding customer service.

Working closely with the Technical Services team, you’llcoordinate all operational aspects of events, from intimateperformances to large-scale productions and conferences, ensuring aseamless delivery and an unforgettable experience.

What you’ll be doing:

- Overseeing daily operations across the CulturalPrecinct
- Leading and managing a diverse team of staff andvolunteers
- Coordinating event logistics in collaboration withTechnical Services
- Ensuring high standards of customer service and venuepresentation
- Maintaining administrative systems and operationalprocedures
- Supporting community engagement and maximising return oninvestment

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Exceptional communication and people management skills
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities
- A calm, cooperative, and customer-focused approach
- Proven experience in venue or event operations
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

Ordinary hours are during standard office hours, but flexibilityis essential. This role will include occasional evening and weekendwork aligned with event schedules.
