Product Management | Sydney, Australia | Remote, Remote |

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join Jira and help us drive the mission to scale our enterprise story. You will have a chance to build functionalities in Jira and help the Jira administrators administer Jira using AI and agents at enterprise scale. If you are interested in solving complex problems, creating the future in AI and delivering real business outcomes through your product releases then this is the role for you.

More about you; You love working closely with customers and building amazing products that our customers love. You have prior success delivering functionalities and evangelising for customers but you also want to own the outcomes and the product that you manage from soup to nuts. You are a product leader

Effective in prioritising, setting clear goals, making decisions, and communicating crisply to all audiences. You’ve got charisma in spades: you’re social and adept at building relationships across product lines and functional groups to make sure we are all on the same page.

Working at Atlassian

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Responsibilities

- Drive the AI led roadmap to delivering scalable and easy to use products and tools to help Jira administrators drive success and growth within their organisation. You are the PM that is savvy with agents, LLMS, AI and are also able to learn complex concepts around how configuration of Jira should evolve.
- Product Research and POV formulation
- Understand a customer’s journey and use cases in a Jira to create a solid roadmap of initiative.
- Define and drive a product roadmap along with other PMs, and to communicate this to teams and leadership as appropriate.
- Conduct customer research, market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform the product roadmap
- Gather and analyse user feedback through various channels to inform product decisions and improve user experience.
- Product Execution
- Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, program management, marketing and sales to develop and launch new features
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align product goals with business objectives.
- Utilise data and analytics to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement or experimentation, and drive product decisions in alignment with the organisational goals
- Align with other PM's and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of priorities and dependencies

On your first day we’ll expect you to have

- Cross-functional stakeholder management skills to drive your team/s towards product goals
- True obsession for customers – you go out of your way to talk to customers and solve their problems because it’s what gets you out of bed in the morning, even if it means a tough conversation

Nice to have but a big bonus

- Product management experience from a fast-growing software company
- Prioritisation skills, evaluating opportunities against the needs of our customers and our business, and clearly communicating rationale behind your decisions
- Experience translating technical trade offs into clear, concrete, customer-facing product goals
- Understanding of good product usability, how it’s assessed and how to drive the team towards developing delightful experiences

Qualifications

It’s great, but not required, if you have
