Job Description

- Lead and manage technology projects within the public sector framework.

- Provide strategic advice and support to stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.

- Monitor project performance, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology projects.

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners as required.

- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with government policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Principal Project Officer should have:

- Proven experience in project coordination within the public sector or technology industry.

- Strong knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

- Problem‑solving skills with a focus on achieving outcomes.

- Relevant qualifications or certifications in project management or a related field.

- Familiarity with public sector processes and compliance requirements.
