If you want to advance your career and be exposed to some great buildings, highly reputable clients, working alongside a fun and experienced team…. then this is the role for you**Key accountabilities include:*** Lead and manage all phases of capital works projects, including project planning, design development, construction, and closeout. Ensure timely delivery within budget, and meet quality standards* Develop and manage capital works budgets, forecasting expenditures, controlling costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities* Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies ensuring effective communication, seamless workflow, and adherence to project requirements* Identify potential risks and issues related to capital works projects, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations* Oversee the selection, negotiation, and management of contractors and suppliers ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project timelines* Prepare and present regular progress reports, project updates, and financial summaries, ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation throughout the project lifecycle* Staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in capital works management.
