In this dynamic role, the Senior Property and Land Tenure Manager will provide specialist advice on land administration matters and drive the development of commercial property strategies that maximise financial returns across City properties, while developing and delivering smart, commercial property solutions that enhance asset value and improve operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Alliance Manager Properties, your responsibilities would primarily include:

- Providing expert advice on land tenure and administration for various property types.
- Managing and reviewing land tenure documents, including Management Orders, easements, acquisitions and disposals.
- Ensuring compliance with Land Administration Act and related legislation.
- Effectively manage new leases, lease renewals, licence renewals and rent reviews whilst maintaining relationships with existing tenants to ensure positive commercial outcomes for Council.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

- Extensive commercial property management experience with strong industry knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Demonstrated experience in land tenure administration.
- Demonstrated high level negotiation and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Highly developed communication, presentation and report writing skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and perform well under pressure.
