(Urgent) Clinical Nurse

We are currently seeking an experienced ClinicalNurse to lead and develop the team at BethanieWaters Aged Care Home located in Port Kennedy, ensuringthe delivery of high-quality care to our residents, in apermanent full-time role. Co-located with aretirement village, Bethanie Waters is one of our larger sites with160 beds and provides support for people who need 24 hour care,including those with high care needs and dementia

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be a key member of the facilitymanagement team, and vital to enhancing our residents’experiences. You will coordinate and deliver resident care incollaboration with other health professionals while ensuringefficient use of organisational resources.

About You

You’re a leader with a desire to develop your team to bethe best they can be. You genuinely care about your team andenriching the ageing experience for your residents.

- Currently registered with the Australian HealthPractitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a RegisteredNurse

- Relevant post graduate qualification to the level ofpostgraduate diploma or above

- Ability to work independently and professionally

- Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive workenvironment

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and abilityto confidently use clinical information systems

- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of TheBethanie Group

- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness toapply for one)

The Role

- Provide leadership and supervision for the clinical team toensure care meets our residents’ expectations

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care that iscustomer focused and in accordance with all standards andlegislation

- Assess competency of all clinical employees on an ongoingbasis and allocate training or mentoring where necessary

- Establish professional relationships with all new andexisting residents and their families to ensure the clinicalteam provide customer focused care

- Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursingstaff, medical staff and / or allied health staff
