At Hearth, we provide 1:1 support to NDIS participants across Melbourne. We match you based on your skillset, preferences, and interests, and give you an opportunity to meet your participant prior to working with them.

Hearth is looking for support workers across Bayside Suburbs, such as Frankston 3199, Langwarrin 3910, Seaford 3198 and the surrounding areas.

The role may involve:

- Assistance with community access and recreational activities
- Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance)
- Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists
- Transportation andsocial engagement
- Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Behavioural and Mental Health Support

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Professional or lived experience supporting someonewith a disability
- An understanding of the disability sector and person-centred support
- Excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach
- Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to Hearth

Essential criteria:

- An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred support
- Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach
- A valid driver's license and a registered vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- The legal right to work in Australia
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities
