Medical Workforce Manager – Forensicare

About the Role:

This strategic leadership role is pivotal in shaping and sustaining a high-performing medical workforce at Forensicare. As Medical Workforce Manager, you’ll lead the development of integrated workforce strategies, ensuring alignment with clinical priorities and regulatory compliance. With a shift from operational delivery to strategic enablement, you’ll focus on governance, planning, and optimisation, while fostering innovation and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead medical workforce strategy aligned with clinical service plans

- Provide expert advice on governance, credentialing, and compliance

- Oversee registrar rotations, prison coverage, and sustainable rostering

- Partner with leaders to forecast needs and close capability gaps

- Design and deliver domestic and international recruitment strategies

- Build strategic partnerships across health services and universities

- Drive system improvements in recruitment, credentialing, and CME

- Champion digital tools to enhance workforce efficiency

About You:

You’re a strategic thinker with deep experience in medical workforce management. You bring strong governance knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for building high-performing, inclusive teams.

You’ll need:

- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Health Admin, or related field, desirable

- 5+ years’ experience in medical/health workforce leadership

- Expertise in credentialing, compliance, and workforce analytics

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and psychological safety
