About the Role

As a Clinical Education Specialist, you’ll play a key role in empowering healthcare professionals with the knowledge and confidence to use Essity’s market-leading products effectively. You’ll deliver high-quality education and training, support product adoption, and collaborate closely with our sales team to enhance customer engagement and drive strategic growth.

We are seeking a casting extraordinaire – someone who lives and breathes orthopaedics and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You/'ll be the face of our trusted Essity orthopaedic brands, working closely with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals across New Zealand.

This is no ordinary role – you’ll be out on the road, building relationships, delivering training, and providing in-depth product support.

While the role is posted as Auckland-based, candidates can also be located in Wellington or Christchurch, provided they have close access to a main airport for travel.

This is a part-time role, working two days per week, either Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday, depending on your availability.

What You Will Do

- Deliver engaging, professional in-service training and educational sessions to healthcare institutions.
- Provide expert guidance on product use and clinical applications.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify upskilling opportunities and support product adoption.
- Maintain accurate training records and input relevant data into CRM systems.
- Plan and manage your time and resources to maximize educational impact.
- Act as a regional expert on product indications and competency-building initiatives.
- Represent Essity’s values of Care, Courage, Collaboration, and Commitment in all interactions.

Who You Are

- Whether you're a plaster technician, orthopaedic nurse, or clinician with casting experience, you know your way around orthopaedic casting and love helping others succeed. Ideally, you bring solid clinical experience or formal qualifications in orthopaedics, vascular, lymphoedema, or wound care.
- Proven track record of delivering strong outcomes in the health and medical industry.
- Casting experience, ideally as a plaster technician, orthopaedic nurse, or clinician.
- Confident, approachable communicator with strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Collaborative and effective working cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Have a car and hold a valid current driver’s license.
- Ability to travel nationally around 2 days per month, while working 2 days per week overall.
- Bonus: prior experience in clinical support, educator, or product specialist roles, with wound care knowledge.

What We Can Offer You

- At Essity, we support your growth and development in a purpose-driven, people-focused culture. Here’s what you can expect:
- Passionate Team: Join a respectful, authentic team that values trust and accountability.
- Global Impact: Be part of a thriving business improving everyday living.
- Competitive Salary: Earn a rewarding and market-aligned package.
- Ongoing training and professional development to support your growth.
- Wellbeing Perks: Enjoy free access to yoga, Pilates, gym, and more with a Corporate ClassPass.
- Collaborative Culture: Work in a diverse, supportive, and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Our purpose, Breaking Barriers to Well-Being, provides meaning to everything we do. Join us to improve well-being for people and drive positive change for society and the environment.
- At Essity, you/'ll feel valued, empowered to grow, and challenged to achieve business results in a collaborative and open atmosphere.
