Job Description

- Assist with the development and implementation of the Goods and Services Procurement Framework
- Ensure procurement processes align with organisational policies and guidelines
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
- Support tendering activities, including preparing documentation and evaluating submissions
- Provide advice to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier agreements
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Advisor should have:

- A solid understanding of procurement principles and practices
- Experience in preparing tender documentation and evaluating supplier proposals
- Experience in procurement within infrastructure or construction environments (Vic Gov experience desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
