About the role

The role provides warehousing services to all regional, metropolitan and online Museum stores. Operating as a member of the Retail Services team delivering stock related services and Retail administration assistance.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and detail‑oriented individual to join our Retail team in this stockroom support role.

Responsibilities

- Receive, organise and dispatch goods for all the WA Museum regional, metropolitan and online stores.

- Monitor quality control of stock and facilitate the correction of delivery or quality issues; requires data entry of invoices using the Inventory Management System.

- Monitor and physically replenish stock levels at metro sites.

- Perform stock transfers between Museum sites, including internal transfers, physical movement of stock and logistics.

- Participates in annual shop stocktakes – with preparation and counting responsibilities.

Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid Work Visa (for fixed term appointments), or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.

A current (within six (6) months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

Special Conditions

- Must be physically capable of lifting/moving heavy boxes and other manual tasks.

- Hold a valid ‘C’-Class Driver’s Licence.

- Scissor jack operation.
