Overview

Sales Assistant – AMX

AMX is the largest Australian Motorcycle Accessories retailer, open 7 days a week, with 25+ store locations nationally and online. We are looking for our next Sales Assistant to join our AMX Mackay store. This role is suitable for a motivated and committed Casual Sales Assistant who lives and breathes motorcycles.

About the role

This casual position requires 2 extra people needed for moving shop and re-establishing in a new premises. There will be lifting involved. Availability from 1st November for approx 2-3 months, with potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.

To be a successful Sales Assistant, you will:

- Always have a safety focus to ensure your safety, and that of your teammates & customers
- Contribute to the sales and KPI’s of the store
- Be a team player
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to customer service excellence
- Provide superior, up-to-date information on products & services to customers
- Maintain shop presentation & ensure shelving is stocked
- Clean and maintain showroom standards
- Show commitment & reliability to shifts
- Have a passion/interest in motorcycles

Note: This role will require lifting, bending and climbing.

About you

You love to stay active at work and can prioritise effectively. You’re a motorcycle enthusiast with some existing retail work experience. You enjoy building meaningful relationships with customers and peers, and you’re fun and enthusiastic. Availability across a 7-day roster is an advantage.
