What you/'ll be doing
The Medical Radiation Practitioner role supports the Imaging Department in delivering safe, accurate and high-quality diagnostic services within WSLHD, guided by national standards and professional practices. Your responsibilities will also include:

- Providing expert diagnostic imaging services
- Ensuring compliance with national standards
- Supporting patient centred care and outcomes
- Working within multidisciplinary teams
- Upholding WSLHD policies and practices

- Licence: Eligible for NSW EPA Radiation Licence iA14
- Qualification: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Registration: Eligible for and registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencement

Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated experience in general radiography including but not limited to general and trauma, operation suite, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy
- Experience working in a busy hospital environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve clinical situations and to develop effective solutions
