What you/'ll be doing

The Medical Radiation Practitioner Level 2 provides quality diagnostic imaging services at WSLHD, ensuring patient care meets national standards and departmental policies. Your responsibilities will also include:

- Delivering overnight diagnostic imaging services
- Supporting daytime shifts when required
- Adhering to national registration standards
- Maintaining professional practice and policies
- Contributing to excellence in patient care

Qualifications

License: Eligible for NSW EPA Radiation Licence iA14

Qualification: Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.

Registration: Eligible for and registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencement.

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated experience in general radiography including but not limited to general and trauma, operation suite, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy.
- Experience working in a busy hospital environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve clinical situations and to develop effective solutions.
