About the role
You will join our Risk and Compliance team to support the Manager, Regulatory Compliance in delivering a robust and efficient compliance framework across the RACQ Group. This role plays a key part in ensuring the organisation meets its legal and regulatory obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Championing a strong risk-aware culture across the Bank, Assistance, and Insurance distribution business lines.
- Providing clear, practical compliance advice to stakeholders on current and emerging legislation, codes, standards, and licensing requirements.
- Preparing compliance assessments in response to incidents, policy updates, and regulatory changes.
- Supporting the second line of assurance (2LOA) activities to verify that compliance obligations are being met.
- Educating and empowering staff to understand and apply compliance principles relevant to their roles.
About you
- Experience in legal, compliance, risk, or relevant operational roles within regulated financial services environments.
- Solid knowledge of compliance policies, frameworks, and processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional reports and documentation.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a practical business context.
- A collaborative mindset and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels to promote compliance awareness and best practices.
