**Full Job Description**

An excellent opportunity is available for a high-performing and enthusiastic Compliance Advisor/Senior Advisor within our Risk and Compliance team. Reporting directly into the Head of Risk and Compliance, this newly created role has been added to our team due to both increasing work and a strong focus within the business of ensuring best practice risk and compliance exists.

Responsible for ensuring the firm remains compliant with all legislative and regulatory requirements, it also manages various quality assurance activities and oversees the maintenance of the firm’s precedent library. In addition, the role is responsible for:

- Supporting tender responses related to risk and compliance
- Conducting assurance reviews
- Preparing for ISO audits
- Assisting in the development and implementation of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing programs
- Quality management, including file reviews
- Contribution to a project enhancing the firm’s approach to new business intake

Whilst core components of the role are clear, you will appreciate that from one day to the next new and varied opportunities and challenges arise in the risk and compliance space and you will thrive in an environment where you manage competing priorities and can contribute to continuous improvement.

You will be someone who cares about detail, is both analytical and solutions focused, and prides yourself on the quality of your work. In addition, critical to your success in the role will be:

- 3 -5 years’ prior experience in compliance management within a regulatory environment
- Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to a professional services environment
- Qualifications in governance, risk or compliance (highly desirable)
- Experience with assurance reviews, reporting, and quality management.
- Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to the legal industry.
- Experience with ISO audit preparation.
- A growing knowledge of AML/CTF program development and implementation.
