Human Resources Manager – Wingham Beef Exports

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Human Resource Manager to support our diverse workforce of 400+ employees. Reporting to the General Manager, this role requires exceptional communication and leadership skills, playing a key role in driving the continued success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Management of the Human Resources team comprising: Recruitment, Training, WHS, Return to Work and First Aid.
- Negotiation and management of enterprise agreements.
- Oversee local and international labour sourcing activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve engagement and attendance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards, agreements and I.R. laws.
- Coach, mentor and assist line managers to lead and manage their teams.
- Support the implementation of HR information system due in mid-2026.
- Refine and implement programs linked to our strategic business plan across all functions to ensure a high-performance and professional culture.
- Support internal and external ESG, J-Sox, quality and safety audits.

What skill are we looking for?

Ideally, candidates with the following attributes are encouraged to apply:

- Minimum of five years HR experience with a degree or diploma in HR or related field
- Sound knowledge of contemporary industrial and human relations laws
- Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate on all levels
- Ability to develop relationships and maintain confidentiality
- Experience in the meat processing or large-scale manufacturing or production would be beneficial.
