We are currently seeking multiple Customer Service Officers to join a reputable organisation based in Forrestfield. These roles are offered on a temporary ongoing basis, with genuine opportunities for permanency in the future.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Shift times: Start between 7am-9am, finish between 3pm-8pm

Pay rate: $35 per hour + Super, with overtime opportunities (penalty rates apply)

Start date: ASAP

The Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for members of the public, handling inbound calls related to faults and supply issues. This is a fast-paced, phone-based role where you will provide calm, efficient and accurate assistance to customers while logging details into internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Handling a high volume of inbound calls in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Recording customer details and enquiry information accurately in company systems.
- Providing clear and timely communication to ensure customer needs are met.
- Following standard operating procedures to resolve or escalate enquiries as required.
- Working collaboratively within a supportive team to meet service level targets.

Skills & Attributes

- A positive attitude towards customer service, learning and teamwork.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Computer literate with strong keyboarding skills.
- Willingness to work at a desk taking continuous calls throughout the shift.
- Full Australian working rights and availability Monday-Friday.
