Corporate and Customer Service Manager

About the role
Central Darling Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate and Customer Service Manager to join our team. This permanent full-time position will be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for leading and managing our corporate and customer service functions.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee the delivery of high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers
- Manage and oversee the records management, ICT, Post Office and administration functions
- Ensure efficient and effective business operations, including policy development, process improvement, and risk management
- Provide strategic and operational advice and support to the General Manager and the Management Executive team
- Foster a strong customer-centric culture and continuous improvement mindset across the organisation
- Represent the Council and liaise with key stakeholders, including government agencies and the local community
What we're looking for
- Experience in a management role within a local government or public sector organisation
- Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management capabilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ICT platforms and management systems
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as business, public administration or a related field
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance and NSW Working with Children Check is essential.
