About the Role
As a Contract Administrator, you will be the go-to expert for all contract management and procurement activities. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the commercial health of our projects, from drafting and negotiating agreements to ensuring every financial transaction is compliant and accurate. You'll be a key player in a dynamic environment, where your ability to champion commercial standards and support project teams will be highly valued.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing contracts, including reviewing, negotiating and executing agreements.
- Leading all contract administration activities, such as issuing variations, notices of delay and progress claims.
- Analysing and reviewing subcontractor requests and recommendations before forming agreements.
- Assisting project teams with negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Supporting project financials by raising and receipting purchase orders and managing end-of-month processes.
- Championing commercial and procurement compliance across all projects.
What You'll Bring
- A qualification in Law, Business, Finance, Construction Management or a related field.
- Proven knowledge and experience in drafting, negotiating, and issuing subcontractor agreements.
- Previous experience in administering contracts and notices.
- Experience with AS4000-1997, or Defence contracts is highly desirable.
- An unrestricted driver's license and the ability to travel to various sites as required.
