Olympus has fast become a destination for Greek-inspired feasting in the heart of Wunderlich Lane. Backed by the team behind icons like The Apollo and Cho Cho San in Sydney, and Greca and Yoko in Brisbane, Olympus carries the torch forward—timeless, joyful, and unapologetically unique.
We’re looking for a Sommelier who’s as passionate about storytelling through wine as they are about sharing it with others.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Guiding guests through our carefully curated wine list, offering pairing advice that enhances the full Olympus experience.
- Collaborating with the Head Sommelier on list updates, cellar management, and sourcing new wines that speak to our ethos.
- Training our team—building wine confidence across the floor so that every guest conversation is informed and engaging.
- Bringing energy to service—being present, warm, and generous in how you lead, recommend, and contribute.
You’ll Bring
- WSET Level 3 qualifications and a love for Mediterranean wines and emerging producers.
- Experience as a sommelier or senior waiter with a strong wine background.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to uplift those around you.
- A genuine passion for hospitality—and a belief that great wine makes good times even better.
