The day to day
As an Account Manager, your main duties will involve:
- Developing and nurturing high-level customer relationships with senior executives, ensuring flawless delivery of complex product and service solutions.
- Leading strategic conversations with ATO executives, providing proven leadership and mentorship to influence revenue, cost management, and capability development.
- Successfully implementing strategies to achieve billed revenue, profitability, and signing of new business orders, while boosting customer happiness.
- Collaborating with other functional leads and the account team to ensure outstanding customer experiences and strict adherence to strategic goals.
- Maintain high sales activity levels to generate an effective opportunity pipeline.
- Work closely with Optus groups to ensure new business is implemented efficiently and customers are satisfied with the process.
- Develop great customer relationships covering all relevant contacts within the customer account.
Why you are our next Account Manager
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Over five years of experience in a corporate business environment or government departments, particularly in customer service, sales or marketing roles.
- Proven experience in business-to-business sales in the corporate marketplace, with a consultative selling style.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at CIO, CFO, and CEO levels.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication abilities, strong presentation skills, and effective listening capabilities, enabling successful negotiation of high-level sales deals.
- A strong sense of business insight and skill in self-management, planning, and administration.
