Whether that’s keeping the water running, the heating and cooling on, maintaining refrigeration or supporting our infrastructure.**About the Role**Reporting to our Workplace Relations Lead, you will play an essential role within our People Experience (PEX) team, providing expert people related advice and support to our leaders and employees across the business. You will manage escalations from our People Services team, on ER matters, and will help to upskill the team. A key part of the role will be reviewing, interpreting and implementing people policies, procedures and as awards, as well as industrial relations regulations and legislation at a State and Federal level (Australia and New Zealand). We work proactively with the business facilitating training with our operation leaders, as subject matter experts.**About you*** At least five years relevant experience within employee relations – this could be gained as an Employee Relations Specialist or in a more generalist HR role.* Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant ER/IR legislation and application in policy.* Demonstrated experience in managing complex ER matters, including managing formal complaints, conducting ER investigations and preparing investigation reports.* Experience in drafting employer submissions for employment-related claims and undertaking conciliation conferences;* Superior communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to consult, influence and negotiate, including building capability across our teams through tailored in-house training* A mature and highly skilled approach to effective conflict management.* Tertiary qualification in HR, ER, Employment Law or relevant field.This role provides the opportunity to make a positive, long-term impact within Reece Group.
