
Employee Relations Advisor

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced HR professional to deepen their expertise in a complex IR and values-driven environment. Working as part of a collaborative workplace relations team, you will bring 3–5 years' experience in employee relations; award interpretation, case management, and policy advisory to this position. This role will be responsible for interpreting complex data to inform decisions, supporting EA negotiations, and providing expert advice to stakeholders navigating a multi award environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice on IR/ER issues, including award and EA interpretation
- Supporting enterprise bargaining and agreement implementation, including modelling and analysis of proposed changes
- Analysing workforce data to identify IR trends and inform business decisions
- Assisting with the design and implementation of contemporary workplace policies
- Preparing briefings, reports and communications for internal stakeholders
- Contributing to employee case management and resolution strategies
- Partnering with HR and operational leaders to build ER capability across the organisation
The successful candidate will present with a deep understanding of legislation and industrial instruments with strong analytical and communication skills. You will also demonstrate the following:
- 3–5 years' experience in ER/IR or workplace relations
- A degree in Business, Commerce, HR, Law or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES, Modern Awards and EA frameworks
- Advanced Excel and experience with data analysis/modelling
- Well-developed communication, research and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and accuracy
- A strong attention to detail
- A collaborative and values-led approach to stakeholder engagement
